Are you my best friend?

I realized there's always these little things that happen on facebook, which makes everyone get/or do it too but then the craze just dies after that. Recently the craze is the 14 bestfriend thing, which is total bullshit because all the app does for you is check the people you recently talked to either through comments, likes and wall postings and list the people 1 to 14 as your bestfriends. I thought it was cute that my actual bestfriend was number one on my list so the app didnt totally piss me off. But it also tells you whose been stalking you! So today's random topic is, bestfriend.

BEST FRIEND:

When do you consider a friend a best friend? Is it when you tell them absolutely everything? Or you just have that type of connection to them? Or were they just always there for you?

Different people will have different opinions, therefore different thoughts. There's some people out there that consider a friend a best friend just after a few encounters. I remember back in grade 10, when a friend that I didn't really talk to that often made me her best friend. Which really puzzled me. Is it because out of all her friends, I was the only one that she considered closest? On the other hand, I had trouble identifying which were my best friends. Like I know that I had a best friend when I was little, but after that phase of moving and meeting new people, everyone was just my friend/close friend. Until recently I realized, oh shit I do have a best friend. Someone who I tell everything to, or ask for favours, tell them my depressing moments, tell them the moments when I'm super pissed off. Literally, everything. A couple years back, I thought it was so sad to have a best friend whose two years younger. But now that I realized, it's the whole age thing when you're younger. When you were a kid, being two years older kind of meant something. But now that I'm older, two years is literally nothing. Pretty much like the whole marrying someone whose 40 when you're 30 thing, but you wouldn't go out with a kid whose 10 if you were 20 (PEDOPHILE ALERT).

I prefer having two best friends, one from both genders. Doesn't matter if it's an issue that is so logical with such a common sense answer. Different sexes usually have totally different opinions. Guys are more general on things. When you're in a super bitchy mood, because of some bitch, they'll say things that are more of the general picture and tell you that's not how it really is and tell us we're over thinking and usually ends up cheering us girls up. Whereas girls, see the bitch, understand your bitchiness and agree with you. I find that girls talk so much shit. I love it. But come on, we only say it because it actually happened or that's just the way she is. Girls are born gossipers!

My guy best friend is actually my boyfriend. Is that bad? I mean I'm so bad after breakups. I have a huge tendency to avoid them for a long period of time and then slowly talk to them. But I find it cute that there's also other people out there that consider their significant other as their best friend. I mean that's the whole point right? You want to spend your life with someone you can tell everything to, why wouldn't you?

There's also people who consider their parent/parents their best friends. I just can't do that. I mean my relationship with my parents aren't too bad, but there's just things that I just simply can't tell my parents. Probably because there'll be awkwardness and also based on the fact that they won't understand. I know parents would understand because their older, because they lived their life longer so thus they have so much more experience compared to us, but meh, there's still that feeling.

Bottom line: Having best friends are great! And if you think you don't have any friends, or just haven't found a best friend yet, they're out there my friend. Or you're just totally oblivious that they were just sitting next to you this whole time. Identify them and bond!

A New Start

So I've been thinking lately, now that I currently don't have school, I'm practically free as a bird. With almost literally nothing to do, I have decided to make posts about just random shit.

Today I was just strolling through my facebook newsfeed and saw a picture of a friend posing in a awkward pose just so their tattoo can be shown. So today's random topic of the day is: tattoos.

TATTOOS:

I realized the meaning of having tattoos varies amongst everyone. Some have it because of a gang of some sort they're part of, something tragic has happened in their lives so they have to ink on themselves, it's cool, they think it's art. Trying to be the most humble of myself, I only have it because I think it's cool, and it means something. I'm not the type to think of it as art, because I'm not brave enough to put it all over my entire body, but honestly, the places of certain pictures/words that people place on their bodies is actually pretty phenomenon.

I find it a turn on when someone has a tattoo, but not the whole arm (sleeve) or buttcheek type of thing. Just something little, or something that's not entirely stupid and acutally means something. I know for a fact generations ago, tattoos would be considered to be a bad thing. Something only gangs, mafias, triads would only have. But in today's society it's so common, common enough to not pose as a threat but just something you chose to put on your body. Till today, I'm still not sure whether or not if it's "common" enough to not be able to get you the job you wanted due to the showing tattoo on your arm for example.

I think the most cool part of having a tattoo is if someone saw it by accident, or you weren't purposely showing off. I love it when it's in places where you normally can't see it, unless some clothing were to be taken off. It's a surprise, and I love surprises!

But come on...to pose awkwardly so you can show the whole world online? That's a little...how would I saw it? Lame? I know people find it something that they have to show everyone, since usually not everyone has the same tattoos. I've seen some photos online where the pose, the background, the lighting of the person posing in a way where their tattoo can be seen, which are totally awesome. For me, purposely posing or purposely putting photos up because your tattoo being seen is so...childish. Why? So the whole online world can know that you're cool?

Mehh, it's just a little something that I find annoying. Not bothered by it too much. And if this offends anyone, I'm sorry. I'm not telling you to hide every tattoo you have, I mean if it's on your left tit and you want to show the world, by all means, I'm not stopping you.

Bottom line: If you're tattoo is in a position where it can be seen normally, that's fine. But if it's on your butt cheek, or you got a nipple flower, or on your ankle and decided to pose with you're leg up awkwardly and want to show everyone you got a tattoo there. Save it, that's super lame and it makes you look like a weirdo or slut depending on where the tattoo is.

**This is just my opinion, no need to get all huffy about it. Calm your balls :)
